Dr. Amy L. Stone is Professor of Sociology at Trinity University, a selective liberal arts college in San Antonio, Texas. Their research interests include gender, sexuality, LGBTQ life in the South and Southwest, urban life, health, politics, and housing.

Amy L. Stone is an award-winning writer and teacher who has published widely on LGBTQ issues. They co-direct the Family, Housing, and Me (FHAM) Project.
